Be careful as to whom you learn about Islam from.
We are now living in what is known as the Age of Fitnah. Trials and Tribulations
With the advent of various technological advancements in Science & Technology, Mankind is susceptible to be led astray by those who misuse the latest tools and software that can pass off digital content that is produced by Artificial Intelligence that is so highly advanced that one can’t differentiate between what is real and what is fake.
So, is the power of glib tongued individuals today who come across as being so religious and pious, yet they can mislead the uninformed and easily misled into accepting as true what is false and made up.
The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam forewarned us about falling prey to these End Times ‘false prophets’ and advised us to hold firm to the ‘Rope of Allah’ and his Sunnah.
The Rope of Allah being the Al Qur’an Al Karim and his Sunnah, recorded Sayings and Enjoinments compiled as the Hadiths.
There are many out there who teach about the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam yet improvise and even fabricate tales and make up stories about this and that as if they were there, as it happened.
So-called religious figures will speak and share about the Prophet as if the Greatest Messenger and Mercy of Allah to All Creation was just another simple bloke who happened to be chosen to be a prophet of Allah.
They will even ridicule and make fun of Rasullullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam as if Muhammad ibni Abdullah was just an ignorant Arab from the burning deserts.
An example of this insult can be seen in the video below:
It’s not like I support this speaker a 100% but he has a point.
Ismail Menk should not be speaking about Rasullullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam in such a dismissive manner.
The audience were laughing when the said hadith about seeking knowledge even if one must travel to China in those days was being referred to.
The likes of Ismail Menk in simplifying the understanding about our Blessed Prophet can lead to the sin of blaspheming against Allah’s Greatest Messenger to the Entire Creation. That is asking for trouble in the Hereafter. Should one risk it?
In these Akhirul Zaman, we must be careful as to whom we look towards for guidance and religious knowledge. The best thing would be to study from the Qur’an and seek advice from genuine ulama’ with no vested interests.
I have watched several other videos from this As-Sunnah Trust and could sense that they are into overly ‘hero-worshiping’ and placing too much importance towards the ‘relics’ and belongings of the Prophet, His Family, Companions, and those deemed to be Awliyas, etc.
Islam does not teach us that. Even the Blessed Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam forbade us from going overboard in venerating him or any other person. He told us to be moderate. Not too dismissive or too obsessive.
Have you seen how some Tariqah members have been wearing sandal symbols fashioned after the Prophet’s capal and pin it to their turbans or robes. Isn’t that blasphemous?
The Prophet forewarned us about those who introduced new things into the religion in this authentic hadith.
Narrated `Abdullah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount (Kauthar) and some men amongst you will be brought to me, and when I will try to hand them some water, they will be pulled away from me by force whereupon I will say, ‘O Lord, my companions!’ Then the Almighty will say, ‘You do not know what they did after you left, they introduced new things into the religion after you.'”
These acts of introducing symbolisms such as the ‘capal’ as an object of honor attributing to the shape of the Prophet’s sandals
Did the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam doing his lifetime ask anybody to hero worship him or venerate his personal belongings?
Has Allah Azza Wa Jalla commanded us to worship or adulate anyone or anything except Him?
Don’t ‘play-play’ with your Iman and Aqeedah. Be steadfast in worshiping only Allah the Almighty and not His Creation. Be wary of falling into the category of the Innovators.
Those who are being referred to in Sahih Bukhari 7049.
If you truly want to be a true ummah of Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam, stick to the Haqq and not the Batil.
Insya Allah.
