How fragile is your Iman in these Akhirul Zaman?

I keep reading about the dangers of Muslims here in Malaysia being waylaid by the Christian Evangelists every now and then in blogs and publications.

It’s so embarrassing to see how fragile is the so called faith of these so called Muslims whose faith’s can so easily be contaminated or disintegrate into Kufr just by seeing a ‘Cross‘ or any other religious symbols of the false beliefs by the Kuffar in general.

The fault lies with those who give birth to these fragile hearts and easily confused minds. The parents or guardians. Those who raise these weak hearted ‘Muslims’ in name only. MINO’s.

Problem could be that the parents themselves are quite clueless about their Islamic faith. Their very basic knowledge of their religion. The Do’s & Don’ts. Allowed & Forbidden in Islam. The Halal & the Haram. Right & Wrong.

Maybe their parents themselves were also clueless about all these. The end product is these easily influenced and clueless MINO’s who although might be seen to appear dressed as Muslims are in actuality quite ignorant about Allah, the Prophet Muhammad and the foundations of Islam itself.

So how will they not become easy prey for the committed Kaffirs like those Evangelist missionaries who are so steadfast in their Disbelief and totally ooze total self confidence in their mission to live and die as Christians?

You’ve got to hand it to the Christians for their awesome dedication in their zeal to proselytize the ignorant and fragile hearted Muslims who can be easily bought over by a smile, an act of kindness and seemingly overly concerned over the welfare of the clueless ones amongst the ummah of Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam.

On the other hand, we have the stern faced stoic looking so called ‘Ulama’ of Islam who keep spewing fatwas and edicts like the endless diarrhea of their convoluted hearts and closeted minds who crave for worldly rewards and lofty titles and earthly positions awarded to them by the corrupt and devious ones claiming to be the Royal Keepers of the Islamic Faith and are quite distant from the grassroots of the dispersed masses of the Ummah.

When was the last time you came across these religious scholars of Islam mingling with the common folk and guiding the wayward masses back to the Way of Allah and to learn what the Blessed Greatest Messenger of Allah, Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam taught us as to how to live as a proper and true Muslim?

I can safely say that your chances of seeing such Islamic scholars mingling with the general public would be one chance in a million or probably never! They are so isolated from the general public by sitting on cushy executive chairs in luxurious offices in high towers or palatial buildings, secured by armed guards and anyone who so wishes to meet them have to first set an appointment with the scholars secretaries or personal assistants and even such a meeting if agreed to would only last for a few minutes because the scholars appointment calendars and event schedules would be so jam packed ~ but not due to being with the ummah but more to do with officious sounding seminars, symposiums, forums, bla-bla-bla which usually only benefits the scholars or for their patrons self interests.

Woe betide any commoner who dares question the esteemed scholar or try to discuss any matter which has been decided by the ‘holier than thou’ fellows!

In short, what I am saying is based on my own experiences and observations of real life situations and from the hardships faced by Muslims and Non Muslims who in one way or another get duly affected by the sudden conversions of their spouses especially their husbands who convert to Islam without discussing such a life-changing matter with them, the lawfully wedded and registered wife’s.

In Malaysia, history records that almost all of the said cases where the Non Muslim wives got technically divorced when their husbands embraced Islam and left them high and dry whilst converting any of their offspring’s to Islam as provisioned by Islam for a Muslim father saw no Ulamak @ Religious Scholar step forward to help solve the arising conflict.

There are also cases where there were converts / reverts to Islam returning back to Kufr @ Apostatize after finding their own self’s without support or guidance from those religious officials who are supposed to be their pillars of support after declaring their faith towards Allah as the Supreme God, Creator of us all plus the entire universes and attesting to Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam as Allah’s Final Messenger.

Fragile Iman’s. Easily susceptible to the slightest of hardships or inconveniences.

Compare that to the steadfastness of early Makkan Muslims such as Sayyidina Bilal Radhiallahu Anha, who remained committed as a Believer despite having his chest being crushed by heavy rocks and grilled over burning embers in the blazing scorching Arabian desert to forfeit his Creed and to disbelieve in Allah! Witness the recreation of that episode in the blockbuster movie ‘The Message‘ below:

I doubt that such an Iman would exist in today’s ummah?

Witness also another scene where the first martyr in the early days of Muhammad’s mission is recorded by that epic film by As Syaheed Moustapha Akkad!

There are many amongst us today who have no bloody clue as to what they claim to profess?

I recall reading a saying attributed to the Blessed Messenger where he said that in the Last Ages [now], there will come a time where there will be amongst his ummah, those who have faith in the morning and lose it by the afternoon. Very fragile Iman’s.

Why will that be so?

If you ask me, I will say that such a situation will come into being … by choice.

Yes! Absolutely by his or her own choice. The flip flopping Muslim will decide to forgo his or her religious obligations by putting other matters above his or her obligation to practice their faith. Human beings are notorious for forgetting to submit to The Supreme Creator when things are going just nicely for them.

Good health, lots of money, enjoying a luxurious and pleasant life, being with loved ones, friends, business associates, being safe, have enough to eat and drink, getting to taste all the pleasures of this earthly life, etc.

Who needs to prostrate before God? Why bother with prayer?

Until… all that disappears. No more niceties in life. Struggling to even breathe, reeling in pain, suffering like hell, smelling so bad, can’t even see, taste, feel or even defecate for the matter! Can’t even belch or break wind!

Oh no! Poor me!

Why oh why dear God? Why have You forsaken me???

Please!!! I beg You!

Give me another chance!

I promise to not forget You!

I will sacrifice everything for you O Allah!

Back to square 1 again and again and again….

Fragile Iman’s. By choice.

Sigh….
