Freedom ~ Living in God’s Realm by Nur Sakeenah Thomas

Bismillahirrahmanirahim
Sharing my final musings in my final months in Universiti Putra Malaysia (2006-2016).
Rumi Set me free
Someone asked me: How do you feel after you have converted to Islam? I answered: I feel free.
How do you feel after you have been deprived of your rights? I answered: I feel free.
How do you feel being thrown into the middle of the ocean? I answered: I feel free.
How do you feel being pushed down from a 24 story building? I answered: I feel free.
How do you feel when you are left on your own searching for the meaning of life and quest for knowledge? I answered: I feel free.
How do you feel being an immigrant? I answered: I feel free.
Then the person said: But why my friend???
Aren’t you feeling, depressed, frustrated, hurtful and fearful???
I really really don’t understand you!!! Do you still want to be a Muslimah?
What about your children, aren’t they a load?
See what Islam has done to you? Are you really happy? Can you please tell me why before your studying months end???
Finally I just smiled and answered: Of course I am deeply hurt, no one can deny it as I am a normal person but I really really feel the freedom through submitting to God.
Yes, of course, I still want to be a Muslimah and I am still learning to feel the serenity, strength and beauty of freedom living in God’s realm because Islam has set me free…
The Quran is my life-jacket, the Prophet and his companions are my inspiration; my children are my lighthouse and of course, I am happy.
I am the happiest Mommy in the world and you, my dear friend, you will understand me the moment you feel what true freedom means in Islam; and you will feel free from depression, frustration, hurt and fear because God will set you free..
Thank you Allah for your endless blessings!!!!!

“…Truly my Lord is with me, He will Guide me through.”(Q26:62)

MARIA DETAINED UNDER SOSMA, WHY NOT? by Jee Abdullah

maria-chin

When our Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Khalid Abu Bakar disallowed Bersih 5 rally to proceed, no one in the Bersih 2.0 steering committee or the opposition leaders took notice to ensure that they abide by Section 10 (C) and Section 11 of the Peaceful Assembly Act 2012, that is to get approval from Dataran Merdeka owner, the Mayor.

The police have also reminded numerously, should Maria Chin and Bersih 5.0 are adamant to go ahead on their targeted date 19 November to hold their gathering in Dataran Merdeka without the PAA’s requirement, then they should realised that they did not meet legal provisions and hence violated the stipulated Act. Tell us which part that these so called law experts and law abiding people in Bersih 2.0 steering committee are unable to understand?

Therefore, Bersih 5.0 rally is illegal. So when Maria Chin is detained under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 or SOSMA, why the need to dispute it?

As stated clearly that Bersih 5 is an illegal rally, the green light from Maria Chin and her steering committee to proceed is thus encouraging to go against in maintaining public order and the people safety. The police is correct to carry out instructions to stop illegal Bersih 5 rally when it is obvious detrimental to the security of our nation.

Should any opposition leaders questioned PM Najib’s assurance that SOSMA will not be affecting on politicians, they ought to proof that Maria Chin have held any position in any political party, then SOSMA should not be imposed on he her. If Maria Chin is merely a political instrument, as chairman of an NGO that has violated the laws that have threatened the public order, then SOSMA is very appropriate and she is a threat to our nations’ security.

If the oppositions needed to be reminded that Maria is chairing an illegal rally “which is prejudical to public order in, or the security of, the Federation or any part thereof ;”. Her detention is thus necessary to stop action as stipulated in SOSMA when she has initiated “to procure the alteration, otherwise than by lawful means, of anything by law established”.

As a seasoned political watchdog, Ambiga should have extensive legal knowledge affecting illegal assembly that the police in no way are liable to facilitate them and what more to ensure participants safety. But her statement to demand for the police presence is as though very obligated, not only that she is misleading public opinion but in fact she is inviting the police too to be unlawful.

What Ambiga should have done as a former chairman for Bersih 2.0 steering committee is to advise Maria Chin and her people to fully comply with the Peaceful Assembly Act (PAA) procedures and abide by rules and regulations as stipulated under the PAA. Instead she has chosen to incite to condemn the police that they are denying the illegal Bersih 5 rally rights to a peaceful assembly. Is Ambiga a truthful and an apt watchdog?

The keywords to Maria’s SOSMA detention are ‘agreeing and allowing’ to be manipulated by certain opposition leaders as a coup instrument. Unless Maria and her Bersih activities detached themselves from these group of usupers, their demands may stay applicable.

She needs no one to blame except the unscrupulous politicians and in particular Dr Mahathir and Kit Siang for ill-advising her. The vigil in solidarity with her is not enough to correct the situation as Maria has to be on her own to face charges for all the wrong reasons to satisfy those villainous opposition leaders. But… you asked for it Maria!

The demise of MCA by Hajjah Lily Hashim

The demise of MCA

RUU 355 & the last coffin nail for MCA
Liow Tiong Lai
MCA was limped and had to rely on pro UMNO Malay voters in small margin Malay dominated constituencies for many years since GE12 (2008). Sadly with the latest MCA objecting to RUU 355 (Syariah law which only covers Muslim in this country) MCA is signing its own death warrant

To many betrayed Muslim voters, MCA is more ignorant that DAP. While the latter enjoyed undivided support of Chinese community in Malaysia, MCA latest political miscalculation on Syariah issue that touches the nerve of every Muslim and makes Muslim give undivided support irrespective of their political ideologies means one thing- MCA can no longer enjoyed the immunity of being categorised as Muslim friendly ” kafir zimmi.”

Thus today MCA is at par with DAP, kaffir harbi

For DAP, no matter what may be the outcome of RUU 355 today, they have the undivided support of the Chinese community. Hence DAP can steadily brace for next election and still win handsomely from the Chinese community.

Contrarily for MCA,who have been borrowing political lifeline from Muslim population/voters , this means the demise of MCA in the next General Election

I do hope PM strategists read the outcome of today’s event and be prepared for one thing- Please be smart and do not field MCA candidates or BN will lose miserably in next GE.

Attack on increased jurisdiction of Syariah courts unconstitutional and an affront to religious liberty by Azril Md.Amin

Published in The Malay Mail Online. June 1 — The Centre for Human Rights Research and Advocacy (CENTHRA) reads with deep concern the joint statement by the Joint Action Group for Gender Equality (JAG) with regards to the Private Member’s Bill tabled by YB Dato’ Seri Haji Abdul Hadi Awang, Member of Parliament for Marang seeking to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 (Amended 1984) to enable the increase of punishments meted out by the Syariah courts (Increasing powers of Syariah Courts may lead to rights violations, MalaysiaKini, 31 May 2016).

We note that the joint statement contains several factually inaccurate assertions as well as downright false and misleading claims, not to mention baseless accusations regarding the proposed Bill in particular, as well as the administration of criminal justice by the Syariah judiciary in general, which we feel compelled to address as well as redress, if only to put in proper perspective the issues surrounding this debate, considering, to borrow the statement’s own words, the level of debate this has generated in the public sphere.

First of all, the implied claim by JAG that the tabling of the Private Members’ Bill was undemocratic, not transparent and should have been subjected to public consultation is unwarranted and illogical given that in a Westminster-based constitutional system such as ours, such a move is not practical given the time constrains involved. We remind JAG that the Bill is not based on any proposal or legislative programme but a Private Members’ Bill, and duly elected Members of Parliament are free to bring forth Bills before the chamber of the House they were elected to without subjecting the same to any consultation process, especially given that the prerogative of whether such Bills are approved for tabling lies with the Speaker of the House. In the United Kingdom House of Commons, for example, hundreds of Private Members’ Bills are presented for tabling for every session and if all such Bills were to require public consultation prior to their tabling then parliamentary business would never be finished. We believe that the confusion took place because such Private Members’ Bill was the first kind of its nature in the history of our Parliament.

Secondly, with respect to the so-called “Malaysian interpretation” and the absence of guarantees in the way Syariah-sanctioned whippings are administered in other countries, we point out that the Bill is tabled before the Parliament of Malaysia, and if passed would become law in Malaysia. As such, sheer logic alone necessarily entails that the “Malaysian interpretation” would most definitely apply, regardless of the practice in other countries, which has absolutely no bearing on this matter whatsoever. JAG has also failed to adduce any example or evidence where present Syariah laws have been applied in a discriminatory fashion leading to victimization.

Regarding the role of the state in enforcing the precepts of Islam, we again remind JAG that this is sanctioned by no less the Constitution itself, which by virtue of Article 4(1) thereof, is the nation’s highest law. Article 3(1) of the Constitution states that Islam is the religion of the Federation. This is to be read with Schedule 4 of the Constitution containing the oath of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (YDPA) pursuant to Articles 32 and 37 thereof, which mandates that the YDPA must at all times protect the religion of Islam and uphold the rule of law. This reading is further fortified by the Herald’s Case [2013] 8 CLJ 890 which states that Article 3 is no mere declaration, but imposes a “positive obligation” on the Malaysian State to protect, defend and promote Islam and its injunctions by appropriate state action, which necessarily includes conferring already existing Syariah courts with the necessary jurisdiction to carry out the injunctions of Islam.

Lastly, JAG should be chastised for making more baseless claims that increasing punishment places a temporary bandage on open wounds, causes more societal harm in the long run and is not in accordance with the compassionate and merciful nature of Islam. It is trite that any criminal justice system, and not just one based on Islam, is meant to subject perpetrators of crimes to justice, and not just the restorative sort but also of the retributive as well as preventive kind as well. While we concede there are existing weaknesses in administration that may lead to abuse, it is submitted that this may be dealt with effectively by taking into account their presence with a view to rectifying the same, and not by simply doing away altogether with a criminal justice system based on Islam, which is the religion of the majority of the population, and more so one that has existed in this land since ancient times prior to the introduction of the British inspired civil criminal justice.

Indeed doing so would lead to degradation of human rights, and erode in particular the religious liberty of citizens professing the religion of Islam, which is specifically protected by Article 11(1) of the Constitution, and is wholly incompatible with the goal of upholding human rights in Malaysia.

Akhie Naim ~ Respons kepada Aisyah Tajudin

Rasanya ramai yang tidak setuju atau tidak sanggup pun dengan hukuman ‘bakar’ atau ‘rogol’ terhadap Aisyah, gadis BFM yang bodoh itu. Cuma, kita kena faham bahawa kata-kata kesat dan ancaman kasar terhadap Aisyah itu datangnya daripada perbuatan Aisyah sendiri. Jangan salahkan mereka yang marah itu. Mari kita ubah sedikit senario untuk memahaminya;

A) memukul orang itu

It’s “freedom” of speech, isn’t it…

KALIMAH ALLAH DAN KEBEBASAN BERAGAMA oleh Dato’ Zulkifli Noordin

09 February 2014

Salam 2 all.

Contohnya didalam Bible bahasa Hebrew, Jesus dikatakan merintih diatas salib semasa dipasung menyatakan ‘Eli, Eli, lamma sabachthani’ (Matthew 27:46). Ini diterjemahkan didalam Bahasa Inggeris sebagai ‘My God, My God, why have thy forsaken me’.

Christians have no right to use ‘Allah’ to describe their Trinitarian ‘God’.

Malaysia has been rocked by the demands of the Catholic Christian Church to be allowed to use the term ‘ALLAH’ to replace the word ‘Tuhan’ which is the correct translation for the word ‘God’ in their Malay translations of their Christian Bible!

Such a preposterous demand naturally has raised the ire of the country’s Muslims and as a result several major protests have been held by them to demand the Catholic Christian Church of Malaysia to drop and cease from such a pursuit!

The Catholic Christians refuse to budge and have resorted to take the matter to court insisting that they be allowed to use the term ‘ALLAH’ in place of the proper Malay word ‘ Tuhan’  to describe their Trinitarian concept of God.

Now, such a matter surely ought to have come under the purview of the Keepers of Islam here in the 9 Malay Sultanates in the Malay Peninsular but surprisingly to this date, we have yet to hear of the Malay Rulers Council coming up with a collective decree prohibiting the usage of the term ‘ALLAH’ by the Christians and other Non Muslims to describe their deity or deities!

When the Malay Rulers fail to act as one, the resulting mayhem has turned into a religious and legal quagmire with the case unnecessarily being heard in the courts and sort of caught in a judicial tug of war between the offended Muslims and the recalcitrant Catholic Church leaders!

Now, let us get down to the basic Principles of Faith that Muslims believe in and what do the Christians in turn believe in as well.

Muslims believe that ‘There is only One God!’

In the Holy Quran. Chapter 112 in the Surah Al Ikhlas ( Chapter of Sincerity) , Allah the Almighty commands us to say that He is One!

112:1

Transliteration

“Qul huwa Allahu Ahad!”

Say, “He is Allah , [who is] One,

112:2
Transliteration

Allahu assamad

Allah , the Eternal Refuge.
112:3
Transliteration

Lam yalid walam yoolad

He neither begets nor is born,
112:4
Transliteration

Walam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad

Nor is there to Him any equivalent.”

Allah clarifies that He is only One! He is the Eternal, the Absolute. He was not born nor did He procreate. And that there is None like Him!

Whereas the Christians have always been referring to their Trinitarian Concept of God as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost!

A 3 in 1 concept of God. Even at this stage we can see the difference between what we Muslims believe as our Supreme Lord Almighty, Allahu Rabbul Alamin @ Allah, Lord of the Worlds to be just One Supreme God whereas the Christians come up with a Godhead of 3 different characteristics of what they believe to be God!

I am not here to deny the Christians their liberty to worship whatever they want as even Allah the Almighty has commanded us Muslims @ Believers in Allah to say to the Christians and other Disbelievers who are addressed as the Kaffirun in the Arabic language of the Holy Quran in the particular Surah Al Kafirun. Chapter 109.

109:1
Transliteration
Qul ya ayyuha alkafiroon
Say, “O disbelievers,
109:2
Transliteration
La aAAbudu ma taAAbudoon
I do not worship what you worship.
109:3
Transliteration

Wala antum AAabidoona maaAAbud

Nor are you worshipers of what I worship.
109:4
Transliteration

Wala ana AAabidun maAAabadtum

Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship.
109:5
Transliteration

Wala antum AAabidoona maaAAbud

Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship.
109:6
Transliteration

Lakum deenukum waliya deen

For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.”
In as simple and crystal clear a manner has Allah commanded us Muslims to say to the Disbelievers in Him that we do not worship what they worship nor do we force them to come worship Allah without their own free will and in faith.

There is an established understanding of the freedom to worship whatever that they want and that we are all to come to such a truce to allow each other the right to practice our own individual faiths.

Over the years, Muslims and Christians have in a way minded our own business and let the other practice their faith in relative peace and harmony here in Malaysia.

Save for the few odd cases where we had witnessed the apostatizing of Azalina Jailani @ Lina Joy and some other individual Malays to the Christian faith, we have been trying our best to keep the peace here but lately there has been a concerted effort on the part of the Christians especially that of the Catholic denomination to intrude into the realm of the Islamic faith by their wanting to use ‘ALLAH’ to now describe what they worship?

If we are to do a search online as to whether Christians and Muslims worship the same ‘ALLAH’ as what these Catholic Christian Church of Malaysia is so adamant in using, we will find sites such as this which protest loudly of any such insinuations!

At least those Kaffirs have the decency to be steadfast in their Disbelief unlike the Catholic Christians that we have here in Malaysia!

For no rhyme or reason, the Catholic Christian Church leaders have harmed the peaceful co-existence that we have been enjoying here in Malaysia and caused the lawyers shown below to rise up and defend the sacredness of the term ‘ALLAH’ by which True God Almighty addresses Himself from being associated with the Disbelief of the Christians!

It all started with this Catholic Christian Priest who started the whole issue!

Some people just never learn! They take pleasure in rocking the boat and are not bothered as to who gets drowned in the process!

I for one hope and pray that the Catholic Christian Church leaders concerned will come to their senses and return to using ‘Tuhan’ as the appropriate choice of word to describe their ‘God’ in their Malay language Bibles as they should.

I also pray that our ‘Keepers of Islam’ will really do what they are supposed to do which is to look out for the sanctity and preservation of our Islamic Faith’s sacredness from being polluted by others such as what the Catholic Christian Church here has done.

It’s just not right for our Malay Sultans to play safe and choose to remain silent on this most important and sensitive matter. At least the Sultan of Selangor, His Royal Highness, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah had the courage and forevision to prohibit the usage of the term ‘ALLAH’ by any Non Muslims in his State of Selangor.

Daulat Tuanku! Long Live the Sultan!

I hope the other Sultans and Raja Melayu will soon follow suit! Insya Allah.

Malaysians generally are a peace loving people and we seldom get so riled up unlike other countries where the people are quick to run riot and kill each other over the smallest of matters.

Religion is a very, very sensitive matter for us and only those who do not practice what they tend to preach will want to stir up any such troubles amongst us who are from multi-ethnic and multi-faiths living together here in this blessed land. I hope that they will think of the consequences of creating unnecessary strife here amongst us, mostly peace loving Malaysians.

Maulid of Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam. Celebrating his Legacy of Al Islam.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
May Peace, Mercy and Blessings of Almighty Allah be upon those of you who believe in Him, The Most Compassionate, Most Benevolent God of us all.
Ameen.

Today, marks the 1441th anniversary of the birth of Allah’s Greatest Messenger to the entire universes, the Blessed Prophet Muhammad ibni Abdullah, Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

His enduring Message of Peace and Salvation remains as a permanent guide and shining beacon to those whose hearts and minds are alighted with the burning desire to seek the Truth and claim their birthrights to be true worshipers of The Only Absolute Supreme Creator of us all.

Islam is the only God given faith that was taught to our Father, the blessed Prophet Adam Alaihis Salam and from him to our Mother Sayyidatuna Hawwa Radhiallahu Anha.

From the union of our blessed parents came forth the multitudes of tribes and people who through the passage of Time, spread throughout the world and established the nations and countries which are so diverse and evolved various cultures and civilizations that mark the Greatness of Ar Rahman Who allows us the freedom of choice yet never left us without a warner, a guide to lead us back to His Salvation.

Islam stands forth as a shining beacon to all who seek God’s Mercy through the ages and by all the signs and prophecies of Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, it is obvious that we are today living in the Last Ages.

The period of Time which has been promised to us where mankind will come to a stage where being religious will be considered strange and at times even offensive!

People nowadays would not bat an eye at those who adopt the most perverse traits of behavior and mannerisms which are void of all earlier norms and decencies and accept such uncouthness as part and parcel of so called modern ways of life but would frown and scowl at those who choose to be religious and return to the ways that are enjoined in all forms of faith and beliefs.

This is the sad reality of our present life.

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam (peace be upon him) said: “Islam began as something strange and will return as something strange as it began, so give glad tidings to the strangers.”

This Hadith is Sahih and was reported from the Messenger of Allah Rahmatulil Alamin (Mercy to the Universes).

A group of Hadith scholars added in another narration: It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! Who are the strangers?

He replied: “Those who perform good deeds while others make mischief.”
In another wording: “Those who correct what the people have corrupted of my Sunnah” (whatever is reported from the example of the Prophet).

And in another wording: “They are the strangers among their tribes.” In another wording: “They are the righteous few among the evil masses.”

What is meant here is that the “Ghuraba” (strangers)” are the people of integrity and that Jannah (Paradise) and happiness are for those strangers who will rectify what others have corrupted.

When the conditions change, matters become unclear, and the righteous people are few, they adhere steadfastly to the truth and to the religion of Allah.

They sincerely worship Allah Alone, perform Salah (prayer), pay Zakah (obligatory charity), observe Sawm (fast), perform Hajj (pilgrimage), and all other acts of worship.

Sahih International

And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, “Indeed, I am of the Muslims.”

Islam appeared as something strange in Makkah al Mukarramah where only a few of the pagan Arabs accepted the faith while most showed enmity towards it and rejected the Noble Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam (peace be upon him) whom they harmed along with his Sahabah (Companions of the Prophet) who embraced Islam.

Then it reached Madinah al Munawwarah the city that those Companions who had the ability migrated to. It continued to be regarded as something strange until the number of Muslims increased in Madinah and other cities.

People then embraced Islam in crowds after Allah made it possible for His Prophet (peace be upon him) to conquer Makkah.

Islam was viewed as strange by people at a time when most were heathens associating others with Allah. They worshiped idols, prophets, saints, trees, stones, and the like.

Allah Azza Wa Jalla guided whom He pleased through His Final Messenger Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam (peace be upon him) and through his Companions. Thus, they entered Islam, worshipped Allah sincerely abandoning their idols, prophets, and saints.

They did not offer prayer, prostrate, or call upon anyone except Allah. They only sought assistance or cure from Him (may He be Exalted and Glorified).

They did not supplicate or seek help from the dead, idols, trees, stones, planets, Jinn (creatures created from fire), or angels. Instead, they worshipped Allahu Rabbul Alamin (Lord of the Worlds) alone. Such are the Ghuraba (strangers).

When a vast number of people shed their inhibitions and adopt a lifestyle of lewdness and uncultured lifestyles, real Muslims remain modest and stay true to the dictates of Almighty Allah and the enjoinments of His Final Messenger.

Some Arab tourists coming to Malaysia forget that Allahu Rabbul Jalil is All Seeing and All Aware of what they do no matter that they have traveled away from the borders of the Lands of the Anbiya Iwal Mursalin.

They change into Western attire and shed their hijabs going about in KL’s shopping malls like the Kuffars. I have had many experiences of asking such folks as to why they do so and the usual run of the mill replies would be that ‘It’s okay in Malaysia!’

Really???

I would then ask,” You mean to tell me that Allah can’t see you here?”

and that would send them scurrying away from this troublesome fellow Muslim who only means well and just wishes to remind them that Ar Rahman is All Seeing, Al Aware no matter that one is in the most exclusive 5 or 6 star hotels or luxurious resorts anywhere in the world!!!

End Times Muslims practicing Al Islam are referred to as the Ghuraba. Strangers adopting a Way of Life that sets us apart from the crazy, hedonistic masses embroiled in a destructive lifestyle that leaves many devastated and destroyed both physically and spiritually in the true sense of the word!

Let’s listen to Sheikh Khalid Yasin talk about this subject of being ‘Ghuraba~ Strangers’:
Towards the End of Time there will be those who hold fast to the religion of Allah while others fall by the wayside. No matter what comes their way!

I recall a nasyeed by Nagore Al Haj EM Haniffa, the famous Indian Muslim singer where among the meanings of the lyrics of one of his songs~’Iraivan Mel Annai’ (Verily before God) were: “Itiyyin munayyil nirittiyye pothum, Iman ilekke maatom!” @ Even if we are pressed by the tips of the (kuffars) spears, we will not shed our faith!”

Everytime I listen to this song, my eyes well up with my tears and the hairs on my hands stand up, conjuring up that image of devout Muslims who remain steadfast holding on to their Iman no matter that the Kaffirs held them captive, with deadly sharpened steel piercing their chests in order for them to abandon their faith in Allah!

I have read of such instances taking place in Gujerat, India when the Hindus ran riot and massacred the Indian Muslims there. Also in Bosnia Herzegovina, Chechnya, Kashmir, etc.

Such are the true believers of Allah the Almighty God of the entire worlds.

When disbelief, disobedience, and evil increase, these devout strangers will remain obedient to Allah and His religion. They will be granted Paradise and Happiness with a goodly reward in this life and the Hereafter.

Its not something that most humans nowadays would be inclined to do. To remain conservative and hold firm to the tenets of the Islamic principles whilst the majority of the human society is steeped in all kinds of hedonistic pursuits.

The Muslims of Malaysia are today besieged by all kinds of challenges both to their faith and their ancestral heritage or customs. Many go about oblivious of what the true Islamic teachings are?

If we are to go check as to the knowledge of Islam that most of today’s so called Muslims here possess, we will be dismayed to see the shallow grasp of the fundamentals of Islamic theology that most of the wayward ones know of or put to practice in their daily lives?

There are also a growing number of pseudo intellectuals amongst the Malaysian Muslims who preach pluralistic views of the man-made faiths and false beliefs putting Islam on par with the kuffars misguidance.

These are the viruses amongst us who ought to be eliminated before they corrupt and ruin the misguided masses. It doesn’t help in having cowardly ministers who would rather go with the hedonistic flow instead of standing firm when it comes to the matter of upholding the true principles of Islamic Syaria and help educate the nation.

How can they do so when at home their own wife and kids do not adhere to the basic rules and regulations of Al Islam? The condescending ones often preach what they themselves do not put to practice! All they can do is fall back onto the time tested excuse that this here is a plural society.

A true Muslim leader will lead all others to acknowledging Allahu Rabbul Alamin and guide all mankind to the Truth of Islam. Not let the kuffars remain in their ignorance and damn themselves to an eternal suffering in the Hellfires.

Dakwah al Islamiyyah is only given lip service. I often witness the spectacle of these insincere heads of departments and ministries put up a show of religiousness when in actuality they dare not go against the superiors who remain steeped in all kinds of vices and corruption.

To expect the alternative lineup of Islam labelled group of wannabe rulers to walk their talk is just another series of heart wrenching frustration waiting to happen for they too lack the tenacity to go the Way of Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.

At times, one shudders watching the ferocity of their verbal venom spew forth castigating every other person but themselves and we wonder as to the state of their mental health and anxiously await their coming to their senses? Even then if they will be man or woman enough to do just that at all?

To those of us who are Muslims and want to be better Believers in Allah and His Messenger, please get ourselves affirmed in our Iman and upgrade our Amals.

Let’s study our Faith and help spread the Message of Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam with a renewed vigor and strength of purpose.

Rectify our erroneous ways and return to our Fitrah being proper servants of Almighty Allah.

We live a temporal life here on Earth. Let’s not be caught unawares in the paths leading to Jahannam but rather let’s work towards seeking Allah’s Mercy and His Forgiveness.

Do you remember ‘The Final Khutba of The Last Prophet’?

Well, just to refresh your memory, here is a reading by Sheikh Yusuf Islam, the former popstar Cat Stevens, who is so articulate in his speech and such an illustrious Caller to Islam:

In the spirit of celebrating the Maulid of Rasulullah Khataman Nabiyyi, Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, let’s offer our Salawats upon the Blessed Messenger of Allah and praise him with our hearts and minds as best as we possibly can!

Sallallahu Ala Muhammad! Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam! Sallallahu Ala Muhammad! Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam!

a) Perkara 11(4) Perlembagaan Persekutuan yang memperuntukkan bahawa negeri-negeri boleh mewartakan undang-undang menghalang orang-orang bukan Islam menyebarkan dakyah agama mereka kepada orang Islam Undang-undang Negeri dan mengenai Wilayah-Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur dan Labuan, undang-undang persekutuan boleh mengawal atau menyekat pengembangan apa-apa iktikad atau kepercayaan ugama antara orang-orang yang menganuti ugama Islam.;

b) Perkara 12(2) Perlembagaan Persekutuan yang memperuntukkan Kerajaan Persekutuan diberikuasa untuk mengurus dan menghulur bantuan kepada institusi Islam seperti masjid, sekolah agama dan juga bagi tujuan pembagunan syiar Islam;
