Guilty or Not Guilty?
The nation will again be kept on her toes when the decision of this infamous sodomy trial involving former Deputy Prime Minister,Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI) is announced. A sequel to a similar story occurred more than a decade ago that tore the nation apart. The sensational case of 1998 has in fact divided the general public into three factions. One faction of society swayed strongly to DSAI side, convinced that he was merely a victim of a grand conspiracy by the government while the other faction strongly believed that DSAI was indeed involved as charged. While a small faction, the fence sitters who chose to remain neutral. These three factions exist everywhere, in the public sector, the private sector and even in institutions of higher learning.
How did all these come about? The cause, to me, was rather obvious. The judgement passed then created a turbulence that led to this segregation of opinions. Whatever the situation my humble opinion points to the failure in the line of actions taken by the police on that matter. Probably a KGB like operation would have saved the nation unnecessary embarrassments and avoided the present political scenario. The unprofessional handling of the whole matter in 1998 was the main cause that threw us into this cauldron of uncertainty. The constant political upheavals too drained our financial resources. In short a Chua Soi Lek type of operation would be more effective to have the devil exposed and this situation we now face totally avoided.
By the way, I wonder in the Chua Soi Lek’s escapade, who was the smart Alex who executed his operation so smoothly that his identity remained intact to this very day? Phew! Probably he was trained by the KGB? Well mister mysterious, whoever you are you surely is my kind of man and you would have been my first choice candidate for the post of our intelligence chief. So much for that, whatever has been done cannot be undone.Just like the Malay proverb ’nasi dah jadi bubur’ that’s exactly the situation we are in.It’s best we look forward for the sake of unity and security of this country. A thing easier said than done all due to the failure to react appropriately when the 1998 case was known.
Come 9 Jan 2012 ,what do we expect next? We know the outcome of the case of 1998 which later swung in favour of DSAI who was then released from his ‘Sungai Buluh residence’. The aftermath of this thriller saw the birth of ‘Reformasi’,'Parti Keadilan’,'Hindraf’ and other movements including “Bersih”. 9 Jan 2012 is just around the corner and the pro DSAI supporters are already charting the course of actions to be launched and drumming up support to get DSAI released. The other faction too does not just sit down with folded arms and watch things go by.They too probably have plans of their own. Notwithstanding which way the verdict goes found guilty or not guilty, a turbulence will definitely further reshape our political landscape.A not guilty verdict too will interpret that DSAI again was an innocent victim of a grand conspiracy.A jubilant mood among the supporters with shouts of ‘takbir Allahu Akbar’ will surely and constantly echo aloud wherever this man, once the Deputy Prime Minister chose to visit.

| D-day Jan 9 |
9 Jan 2012 is the time we wait for the second tidal wave concerned with the recent case of similar nature and charges preferred against DSAI by his ex aide. Though lots of controversies surrounded the investigation into this case, the honourable judge, will have to come to a decision after careful scrutiny and review all the evidences and facts presented before him, A tough decision but someone has to do the job, don’t they?
Of course we will again face yet another complex situation. As law abiding citizens of this beloved country we need to react in a manner that will not bring unnecessary disruptions to our daily lives.Planned demonstration will further strain our financial resources and create difficulties to the general public,As peace loving people we have to accept whatever the outcome may be.Those dissatisfied with the decision or the present government can use their executive rights when the next general elections comes and hope that we Malaysians can put our differences behind and come together once again like we once used to be. Phew! This is easier said than done.
For the members of the Royal Malaysia Police in the Klang valley, it means bad news as usual leave will be frozen and all are to be on’ standby’ a word hated by most serving in the Klang valley. But nothing to complain as members of the Royal Malaysia Police must realise that their responsibility to the nation is not a walk in the park which I learnt during my training days. Since 1998 street demonstrations and assemblies became a common affair.
Oh yes, don’t forget to tune into the next episode of “Did He Do It?” concerning the controversial sex video clip that should be next after this episode, or is it just going to be filed away?
Lastly as a humble Muslim and just back from the holy land I always pray to Allah swt for the truth to prevail and when this happen it can be painful but like it or not, the truth is the truth and has to prevail. Instability and chaos will only bring miseries and therefore I again pray for Allah swt to protect this beloved country, avoid any catastrophe and let us enjoy progress, everlasting peace and above all racial harmony. Amin
ACP (RTD) HAJI OSMAN ABU BAKAR

Now, it’s one thing for a Christian Church to invite Muslims lets say for an ‘Inter-faith’ dialogue or just a casual 1Malaysia themed dinner or what but to have done what they did during Ramadhan, the most sacred month for us Muslims just insinuates that the Christians running that church were either plain naive about the do’s and don’t when having Muslims as their guests in the month of Ramadhan or they have something up their sleeve so to speak?
But then again, going by what has been exposed by this blog, complete with incriminating photos of 5 such ‘Muslims’ who are captured on camera with Christian names but being Malays and Muslims, all the outcry by many of those crying ‘Apostates’ seem to carry water!

JAIS @ Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor were right in their actions on investigating the church for proselytism of Muslims under pretext of such a dinner.
There’s a difference between social get togethers which is quite okay for those of us who are Malaysians but for the church to invite Muslims who are supposed to be in Terawih prayers with the ummah during the nights of Ramadhan smells just fishy!
Investigate and prosecute!
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
May Peace, Mercy and Blessings of Almighty Allah be upon those of you who believe in Him, The Most Compassionate, Most Benevolent God of us all.
Ameen.
Today, marks the 1441th anniversary of the birth of Allah’s Greatest Messenger to the entire universes, the Blessed Prophet Muhammad ibni Abdullah, Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.
His enduring Message of Peace and Salvation remains as a permanent guide and shining beacon to those whose hearts and minds are alighted with the burning desire to seek the Truth and claim their birthrights to be true worshipers of The Only Absolute Supreme Creator of us all.
Islam is the only God given faith that was taught to our Father, the blessed Prophet Adam Alaihis Salam and from him to our Mother Sayyidatuna Hawwa Radhiallahu Anha.
From the union of our blessed parents came forth the multitudes of tribes and people who through the passage of Time, spread throughout the world and established the nations and countries which are so diverse and evolved various cultures and civilizations that mark the Greatness of Ar Rahman Who allows us the freedom of choice yet never left us without a warner, a guide to lead us back to His Salvation.
Islam stands forth as a shining beacon to all who seek God’s Mercy through the ages and by all the signs and prophecies of Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, it is obvious that we are today living in the Last Ages.
The period of Time which has been promised to us where mankind will come to a stage where being religious will be considered strange and at times even offensive!
People nowadays would not bat an eye at those who adopt the most perverse traits of behavior and mannerisms which are void of all earlier norms and decencies and accept such uncouthness as part and parcel of so called modern ways of life but would frown and scowl at those who choose to be religious and return to the ways that are enjoined in all forms of faith and beliefs.
This is the sad reality of our present life.
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam (peace be upon him) said: “Islam began as something strange and will return as something strange as it began, so give glad tidings to the strangers.”
This Hadith is Sahih and was reported from the Messenger of Allah Rahmatulil Alamin (Mercy to the Universes).
A group of Hadith scholars added in another narration: It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! Who are the strangers?
He replied: “Those who perform good deeds while others make mischief.”
In another wording: “Those who correct what the people have corrupted of my Sunnah” (whatever is reported from the example of the Prophet).
And in another wording: “They are the strangers among their tribes.” In another wording: “They are the righteous few among the evil masses.”
What is meant here is that the “Ghuraba” (strangers)” are the people of integrity and that Jannah (Paradise) and happiness are for those strangers who will rectify what others have corrupted.
When the conditions change, matters become unclear, and the righteous people are few, they adhere steadfastly to the truth and to the religion of Allah.
They sincerely worship Allah Alone, perform Salah (prayer), pay Zakah (obligatory charity), observe Sawm (fast), perform Hajj (pilgrimage), and all other acts of worship.

And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, “Indeed, I am of the Muslims.”
Islam appeared as something strange in Makkah al Mukarramah where only a few of the pagan Arabs accepted the faith while most showed enmity towards it and rejected the Noble Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam (peace be upon him) whom they harmed along with his Sahabah (Companions of the Prophet) who embraced Islam.
Then it reached Madinah al Munawwarah the city that those Companions who had the ability migrated to. It continued to be regarded as something strange until the number of Muslims increased in Madinah and other cities.
People then embraced Islam in crowds after Allah made it possible for His Prophet (peace be upon him) to conquer Makkah.
Islam was viewed as strange by people at a time when most were heathens associating others with Allah. They worshiped idols, prophets, saints, trees, stones, and the like.
Allah Azza Wa Jalla guided whom He pleased through His Final Messenger Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam (peace be upon him) and through his Companions. Thus, they entered Islam, worshipped Allah sincerely abandoning their idols, prophets, and saints.
They did not offer prayer, prostrate, or call upon anyone except Allah. They only sought assistance or cure from Him (may He be Exalted and Glorified).
They did not supplicate or seek help from the dead, idols, trees, stones, planets, Jinn (creatures created from fire), or angels. Instead, they worshipped Allahu Rabbul Alamin (Lord of the Worlds) alone. Such are the Ghuraba (strangers).
When a vast number of people shed their inhibitions and adopt a lifestyle of lewdness and uncultured lifestyles, real Muslims remain modest and stay true to the dictates of Almighty Allah and the enjoinments of His Final Messenger.
Some Arab tourists coming to Malaysia forget that Allahu Rabbul Jalil is All Seeing and All Aware of what they do no matter that they have traveled away from the borders of the Lands of the Anbiya Iwal Mursalin.
They change into Western attire and shed their hijabs going about in KL’s shopping malls like the Kuffars. I have had many experiences of asking such folks as to why they do so and the usual run of the mill replies would be that ‘It’s okay in Malaysia!’
Really???
I would then ask,” You mean to tell me that Allah can’t see you here?”
and that would send them scurrying away from this troublesome fellow Muslim who only means well and just wishes to remind them that Ar Rahman is All Seeing, Al Aware no matter that one is in the most exclusive 5 or 6 star hotels or luxurious resorts anywhere in the world!!!
End Times Muslims practicing Al Islam are referred to as the Ghuraba. Strangers adopting a Way of Life that sets us apart from the crazy, hedonistic masses embroiled in a destructive lifestyle that leaves many devastated and destroyed both physically and spiritually in the true sense of the word!
Let’s listen to Sheikh Khalid Yasin talk about this subject of being ‘Ghuraba~ Strangers’:
Towards the End of Time there will be those who hold fast to the religion of Allah while others fall by the wayside. No matter what comes their way!
I recall a nasyeed by Nagore Al Haj EM Haniffa, the famous Indian Muslim singer where among the meanings of the lyrics of one of his songs~’Iraivan Mel Annai’ (Verily before God) were: “Itiyyin munayyil nirittiyye pothum, Iman ilekke maatom!” @ Even if we are pressed by the tips of the (kuffars) spears, we will not shed our faith!”
Everytime I listen to this song, my eyes well up with my tears and the hairs on my hands stand up, conjuring up that image of devout Muslims who remain steadfast holding on to their Iman no matter that the Kaffirs held them captive, with deadly sharpened steel piercing their chests in order for them to abandon their faith in Allah!
I have read of such instances taking place in Gujerat, India when the Hindus ran riot and massacred the Indian Muslims there. Also in Bosnia Herzegovina, Chechnya, Kashmir, etc.
Such are the true believers of Allah the Almighty God of the entire worlds.
When disbelief, disobedience, and evil increase, these devout strangers will remain obedient to Allah and His religion. They will be granted Paradise and Happiness with a goodly reward in this life and the Hereafter.
Its not something that most humans nowadays would be inclined to do. To remain conservative and hold firm to the tenets of the Islamic principles whilst the majority of the human society is steeped in all kinds of hedonistic pursuits.
The Muslims of Malaysia are today besieged by all kinds of challenges both to their faith and their ancestral heritage or customs. Many go about oblivious of what the true Islamic teachings are?
If we are to go check as to the knowledge of Islam that most of today’s so called Muslims here possess, we will be dismayed to see the shallow grasp of the fundamentals of Islamic theology that most of the wayward ones know of or put to practice in their daily lives?
There are also a growing number of pseudo intellectuals amongst the Malaysian Muslims who preach pluralistic views of the man-made faiths and false beliefs putting Islam on par with the kuffars misguidance.
These are the viruses amongst us who ought to be eliminated before they corrupt and ruin the misguided masses. It doesn’t help in having cowardly ministers who would rather go with the hedonistic flow instead of standing firm when it comes to the matter of upholding the true principles of Islamic Syaria and help educate the nation.
How can they do so when at home their own wife and kids do not adhere to the basic rules and regulations of Al Islam? The condescending ones often preach what they themselves do not put to practice! All they can do is fall back onto the time tested excuse that this here is a plural society.
A true Muslim leader will lead all others to acknowledging Allahu Rabbul Alamin and guide all mankind to the Truth of Islam. Not let the kuffars remain in their ignorance and damn themselves to an eternal suffering in the Hellfires.
Dakwah al Islamiyyah is only given lip service. I often witness the spectacle of these insincere heads of departments and ministries put up a show of religiousness when in actuality they dare not go against the superiors who remain steeped in all kinds of vices and corruption.
To expect the alternative lineup of Islam labelled group of wannabe rulers to walk their talk is just another series of heart wrenching frustration waiting to happen for they too lack the tenacity to go the Way of Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam.
At times, one shudders watching the ferocity of their verbal venom spew forth castigating every other person but themselves and we wonder as to the state of their mental health and anxiously await their coming to their senses? Even then if they will be man or woman enough to do just that at all?
To those of us who are Muslims and want to be better Believers in Allah and His Messenger, please get ourselves affirmed in our Iman and upgrade our Amals.
Let’s study our Faith and help spread the Message of Rasulullah Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam with a renewed vigor and strength of purpose.
Rectify our erroneous ways and return to our Fitrah being proper servants of Almighty Allah.
We live a temporal life here on Earth. Let’s not be caught unawares in the paths leading to Jahannam but rather let’s work towards seeking Allah’s Mercy and His Forgiveness.
Do you remember ‘The Final Khutba of The Last Prophet’?
Well, just to refresh your memory, here is a reading by Sheikh Yusuf Islam, the former popstar Cat Stevens, who is so articulate in his speech and such an illustrious Caller to Islam:
In the spirit of celebrating the Maulid of Rasulullah Khataman Nabiyyi, Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam, let’s offer our Salawats upon the Blessed Messenger of Allah and praise him with our hearts and minds as best as we possibly can!
Sallallahu Ala Muhammad! Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam! Sallallahu Ala Muhammad! Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam!
Their aim? To drive out Islamic extremism. Their weapon? The thugs of Britain’s most violent football gangs

Some of the most violent football hooligans in Britain head towards Manchester to support a march by the burgeoning English Defence League (EDL), while a woman dressed in a black hijab appears intimidated
On Platform One at Bolton station a mob of around 100 men punch the air in unison. The chant goes up: ‘Muslim bombers, off our streets, Muslim bombers off our streets…’
Their voices echo loudly and more men suddenly appear; startled passengers move aside. The group march forward waving St George Cross flags and holding up placards. The throng of men around me applaud. A train heading for Glasgow draws up on the opposite platform and the men turn as one, bursting into song: ‘Engelaand, Engelaand, Engelaand.’
Some of the men hide behind balaclavas, others wear black hoodies. A few speak on mobile phones, their hands pressed against their ears to block out the cacophony.
‘It’s already kicking off in Manchester. This could be tasty,’ shouts one. These are some of the most violent football hooligans in Britain and today they have joined together in an unprecedented show of strength. Standing shoulder to shoulder are notorious gangs - or ‘firms’ as they are known - such as Cardiff City’s Soul Crew, Bolton Wanderers’ Cuckoo Boys and Luton Town’s Men In Gear.
The gathering is remarkable, as on a match day these men would be fighting each other. But it is politics that has drawn them together. They are headed for Manchester to support a march by the burgeoning English Defence League.
The police are here in force, too. ‘Take that mask off,’ barks a sergeant to one young man. He does so immediately but protests: ‘Why are they allowed to wear burkas in public but we’re not allowed to cover our faces?’
‘Just do what you’re told,’ the policeman snaps back.
An EDL demonstrator is arrested at Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester in October
‘It’s always the same these days. One rule for them and another for us. I’m sick of this country,’ a man standing next to me says in a West Country accent.
He draws on a cigarette then flicks it to the ground in disgust. He starts to complain again but when the tannoy announces the arrival of the train to Manchester Piccadilly he raises his hands above his head and starts another favourite.
‘Rule Britannia, Britannia rule the waves… Britons never, never, never…’ His companions join in. As the train comes to a halt the crowd surges forward.
The carriages are almost full so the men pack themselves into the aisles followed by policemen speaking into radios. A group of lads drinking beer at a table eye the new contingent warily.
One man wearing a baseball cap clocks their fear and reassures them.
‘It’s all right lads, nothing to worry about. We’re protesting against radical Islam. Come and join us.’
Further up the carriage another bursts into song.
‘We had joy, we had fun, we had Muslims on the run,’ he starts up. Nobody joins in and a couple of his mates tell him to ’shut up’ as they point to a woman dressed in a black hijab sitting at a table.
A man standing close to her is masked and holds a placard. It has a picture of a Muslim woman crying with red blood streaming down her face. ‘Sharia law oppresses women!’ the slogan reads.
The rise of the English Defence League has been rapid. Since its formation at the start of the summer the group has organised nearly 20 major protests in Britain’s cities, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Luton, Nottingham, Glasgow and Swansea.
Its leaders are professional and articulate and they claim that the EDL is a peaceful, non-racist organisation. But having spent time with them, there is evidence that this movement has a more disturbing side. There is talk of the need for a ’street army’, and there are links with football hooligans and evidence that violent neo-Nazi groups including Combat 18, Blood and Honour and the British Freedom Fighters have been attending demos.
Violence has erupted at most of the EDL’s demonstrations. In total, nearly 200 people have been arrested and an array of weapons has been seized, including knuckledusters, a hammer, a chisel and a bottle of bleach.
As the EDL gains support across the UK, Muslims have already been targeted in unprovoked attacks. In the worst incident, a mob of 30 white and black youths is said to have surrounded Asian students near City University in central London and attacked them with metal poles, bricks and sticks while shouting racist abuse. Three people - two students and a passer-by who tried to intervene - were stabbed.
Following the Manchester protest, when 48 people were arrested during street violence, the Bolton Interfaith Council Executive issued a stark warning that race relations were under threat and Communities Secretary John Denham compared the EDL to Oswald Mosley’s Union of British Fascists, who ran amok in the Thirties. In response to these fears, the National Extremism Tactical Coordination Unit, a countrywide police team set up to combat domestic extremism, has been investigating the EDL.
‘The concern to me is how groups like this, either willingly or unwillingly, allow themselves to be exploited by very extreme right-wing groups like the National Front and the British Freedom Fighters,’ Metropolitan Police chief Sir Paul Stephenson has said.

Welsh Defence League members burn an anti-Nazi flag in Swansea
I had met the English Defence League for the first time in Luton three weeks before the Manchester demonstration. After several calls, key members agreed to talk on the condition that I did not identify them. We met at a derelict building close to Luton town centre. Eleven men turned up. All wore balaclavas, as they often do to hide their identities, and most had black EDL hoodies with ‘Luton Division’ written on the back. They’d made placards bearing slogans such as ‘Ban the Burka’.
The group’s self-proclaimed leader, who goes by the pseudonym Tommy Robinson, did most of the talking. A father of two, Robinson explained the background to the rise of the movement.
‘For more than a decade now there’s been tension in Luton between Muslim youths and whites. We all get on fine - black, white, Indian, Chinese… Everyone does, in fact, apart from these Muslim youths who’ve become extremely radicalised since the first Gulf War. This is because preachers of hate live in Luton and have been recruiting for radical Islamist groups for years. Our Government does nothing about them so we decided that we’d start protesting.’
EDL demonstrators in Birmingham in September
Robinson could barely conceal his anger as he explained that the spark for him had been the sight of radical Muslims protesting when soldiers paraded through the town on their regiment’s return from Afghanistan in May.
Following the incident Robinson set up a group called United People of Luton and, after linking up with a Birmingham-based organisation called British Citizens Against Muslim Extremists and another called Casuals United (largely made up of former football hooligans), they realised there was potential for a national movement.
‘We have nothing against Muslims, only those who preach hatred. They are traitors who should be hanged and we’ll keep taking to the streets until the Government kicks them out.’
More than 100 divisions have been set up across Britain and a careful co-ordination means the EDL is becoming efficient and a potential catch-all for every far-right organisation in Britain.
Robinson admits that he has attended BNP meetings in the past. Another prominent member and administrator of Luton EDL’s Facebook group is Davy Cooling, a BNP member. Sean Walsh, an activist for the EDL in Luton, is a member of the BNP’s Bedfordshire Facebook group.
Even within the EDL there are concerns over links to extremists. A former member called Paul Ray recently claimed that the group had been hijacked by BNP activists, including a man from Weston-super-Mare, Chris Renton, who helped set up the EDL website. Ironically, Ray himself has extremist contacts, including a German former neo-Nazi who is friends with Northern Ireland Loyalist Johnny ‘Mad Dog’ Adair.
Casuals United was the brainchild of Jeff Marsh, a convicted football hooligan from Cardiff City’s Soul Crew, one of the most feared gangs in Britain. Marsh operates behind the scenes, orchestrating activities with both Casuals United and the Welsh Defence League, a sister group of the EDL.
The public face of Casuals United is another Welshman called Mickey Smith. An avowed football hooligan, he is banned from Cardiff City’s football ground. Together, Marsh and Smith organise the 50 or so gangs actively recruiting members across the UK.
The EDL insists it is separate from Casuals United, but dig a little and it becomes clear they operate hand-in-hand. Joel Titus is a cocky but politically naive 18-year-old Arsenal fan of mixed race. He tells me that the EDL youth division he runs has over 300 members across the UK.
‘We want to hit every town and city in Britain,’ he says.
Titus became involved with the movement through Casuals United. And according to anti-fascism magazine Searchlight, his role is to recruit football hooligans.
He sticks to the ‘peaceful movement’ mantra but a text I later receive from him ahead of an EDL demo in London reveals his involvement with the hooligans. It reads: ‘Right lads, the “unofficial” meet for the 31st (London) is going to be 12 o’clock at The Hole In The Wall pub just outside Waterloo Station. I will be there just before that. Remember lads were (sic) going as Casuals Utd and if you could obtain a poppy to wear it would make us look good even if we are kicking off. lol. Cheers lads. Joel “Arsenal” Titus.’

EDL members meet at a rendezvous pub before travelling to Manchester
Alarmingly, the EDL is becoming more sophisticated and those orchestrating its activities at the top are far more astute than its foot soldiers. I meet two of the EDL’s key figures in a Covent Garden pub - a respectable looking man called Alan Lake, and a man who goes by the moniker ‘Kinana’.
Lake is a 45-year-old computer expert from Highgate, north London who runs a far-right website called Four Freedoms. This summer he contacted the EDL and offered to both fund and advise the movement.
‘Our leaders in this country no longer represent us,’ he says.
Lake’s aim is to unite the ‘thinkers’ and those prepared to take to the streets. He describes this marriage as ‘the perfect storm coming together’. Lake says that street violence is not desirable but sometimes inevitable.
‘There are issues when you are dealing with football thugs but what can we do?’
He criticises fascist organisations, however, and says he will only support the EDL so long as it doesn’t associate with the BNP. When I ask about extremists hijacking the movement, he says: ‘There are different groups infiltrating and trying to cause rifts by one means or another, or trying to waylay the organisation to different agendas. The intention is to exclude those groups and individuals.’
These men are outwardly intelligent and their political nous combined with the brawn of the casuals makes them a quasi-political force.
Britain’s neo-Nazis realise this. For Kevin Watmough, leader of the neo-Nazi British People’s Party and a former member of the National Front, the rise of the EDL is reminiscent of the Seventies.
‘The protests remind me of the National Front marches, but I wouldn’t march with the EDL because they have blacks as supporters,’ he told me.
But other neo-Nazis have joined EDL demos. These include members of Combat 18 and the British Freedom Fighters, who later posted videos of themselves on the internet.
Watmough lives in Bradford and can recall the 2001 riots, which came about as a result of tensions between whites and Muslims. Bradford, along with Oldham, another tinderbox northern city that witnessed riots in 2001, is a stated target for the EDL and Casuals United in 2010. Tension is likely here and in other towns where the EDL is also promoting spontaneous flash demos and the occupation of building sites for new mosques.
Professor Matthew Goodwin, an expert on far-right organisations who has advised the Home Office, says that the police are right to monitor the EDL and to take them seriously.
‘(The EDL) is now well-organised and not just a minor irritant. It has become a rallying point for a number of different groups and to have them marching through sensitive areas is a major concern.’
Communities Minister John Denham has also condemned the rise of the EDL: ‘If you look at the types of demonstrations they have organised, the language used and the targets chosen, it looks clear that it’s a tactic designed to provoke, to get a response. It’s designed to create violence. And we must all make sure this doesn’t happen.’

Mukadepan akhbar Utusan Malaysia Rabu 26 Rejab 1427/23.08.2006 melapurkan janji UMNo/Be End untuk menguatkuasakan Artikel 11 (4) di empat negeri. Mana janji-janji itu? Lihat berita penuh dilampiran bawah).
Salam 2 all.
Wassalam.

Nazri: ‘Allah’ juga boleh diguna di WP, P. Pinang
Jan 18, 10 3:00pm

What will happen when we use Allah for God in the English Bible..?

Jesus said: “Allah is greater than I” (John 14:28),
Jesus said the most important commandment is “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our Allah, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your Allah with all your …heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:29-30)
“I am Allah, and there is no other; I am Allah, and there is none like me” (Isaiah 46:9),
‘One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to Allah.’ (Luke 6:12),
“Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by Allah to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which Allah did among you through him, as you yourselves know.” (Acts 2:22),
“I am the LORD your Allah, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me.” (Exodus 20:2-3; Deuteronomy 5:6-7),
Jesus prayed to Allah:
‘Going a little farther, he (Jesus) fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “Allah, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” (Matthew 26:39),
‘Jesus prayed to Allah for himself and said, “…Now this is eternal life; that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent…”‘ (John 17:3).
Now I wonder what was the actual teachings of Jesus Christ according to the HOLY BIBLE !!?

I came across this article in the blog of brother Firdaus, Strategic Advisor to PERKIM KL.
I congratulate Brother Firdaus for his insightful outlook as to the consequences to the Catholic Church of Malaysia’s insistence that they be allowed to publish their Herald Magazine in the Malay language using ‘Allah’ as the name of their ‘God’?
I wonder whether the Catholic Church will have the guts to change their ‘Bibles’ in English to have the word ‘Allah’ replacing the term ‘God’?
Thank you Brother Firdaus for raising this matter. May Allah the Almighty bless you.
Amin!
The true Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala of course.
