Do’a for the Departed ~ Free Graphic from www.readnwrite.net

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

In the Name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

As Muslims we are enjoined to offer our prayers @ Do’a to Allahu Rabbul Alamin to bless and forgive those who have departed from this 3rd Realm of our Earthly existence and entered the 4th Realm namely the Yaum al Barzakh – Life in the Grave.

The Grave

Being modern day Muslims who are keeping in touch with each other and the rest of the world through the internet using Social Media, it is imperative that we express our feelings and desires as a manifestation of our innermost thoughts and do so through the usage of media such as this graphic design which I created this morning.

Please accept this free gift from me as a small act of ibaadah and share it with others when you hear of someone’s passing especially those of our fellow Mukmins @ Believers and recite the Do’a @ Prayer for the Departed as following the enjoinment of Rasul Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam in conveying even an Aayah @ Sentence from him to others for the good of the Ummah and the rest of Mankind.

Ballighu ‘Anni walau Ayah..” (بلغوا عني ولو آية) narrated by Bukhari from Ibn ‘Amr (Hadith no. 2838)

Deliver from me even a sentence. This is an authentic Hadith @ Sayings of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam.

May Allah bless and forgive us of our sins and the sins of those whom we prayed for. Ameen.

Be well and have a Blessed Ramadhan. Insya Allah.

Wassalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

MBA Domain Renewed

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

This is to inform all active MBA Bloggers that I have renewed the MBA Domain for another year out of my own expenses as I have done so all these years after taking over the site from Brother Ades who set it up for us.

I ask that you keep your blogs updated and write beneficial articles worth republishing here. Some of you have totally neglected your individual blogs and unfortunately warrant deletion of your memberships here.

There are lots of developments in the Muslim world, both good, bad and the uglies. I am sure that you can write your views about such matters and share them with us.

As long as I am able to, I will be hosting and maintaining this domain for it is part and parcel of me. I seriously hope you will do your part which is to blog sincerely for the betterment of the reading ummah.

Wabillahi Taufik Wal Hidayah.

Wassalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Can’t get registered with the MBA? Here’s the reasons why?

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Dear failed MBA applicants,

I know it’s a tad frustrating to not succeed in getting yourself registered here as an MBA Blogger!

The main reasons why you find your application thrashed is because you simply sent in an application without bothering to include your details and even the address of your blog?

How do you expect the MBA administrator to know who you are and what you blog about?

Our guidelines are so crystal clear and simple. We do not ask you to dance the tango or fight a bull in order to be an MBA blogger.

No sirree. Our application procedures are so easy that a primary school going kid can handle it without any problems.

But no! You have to overlook the fact that to be a member of any organization, you do have to fill in the blanks and tell us about yourself.

Even if you claim to be this or that superstar, we still need to see some ID or in blogospeak, your url address, senor or senora?

How did you fail to read this page?

Applying to be an MBA Blogger is not like studying for a PhD!

All you have to do is to provide us with the following details:

  1. Full name as in your identity cards or passport
  2. Full blog address
  3. Email address
  4. Contact Mobile Number
  5. Gender
  6. Age
  7. Profession
  8. A photograph showing your face not an icon or avatar or John Travolta’s! 😛
If you can’t do something as easy peasy as that, dear friend, do us a favor.  Please just be a reader.
Stay cool. No worries, Don’t worry. Be Happy! Thank you. Have a nice day, okay.
Wassalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Ramadan Mubarak to all Muslims!

Ramadan Mubarak

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Ya Ikhwanul Muslimin na wal Muslimat,

We are blessed by Allah Azza Wa Jalla to be living today and be in the blessed month of Ramadan al Mubarak once again. Alhamdulillah!

As you all know, this is no ordinary month! Ramadan is the sacred month for us who are Muslims and Mukmins.

Surah al Baqarah Verse 185

Transliteration

Shahru ramadana allatheeonzila feehi alqur-anu hudan linnasiwabayyinatin mina alhuda walfurqanifaman shahida minkumu ashshahra falyasumhu waman kanamareedan aw AAala safarin faAAiddatun min ayyaminokhara yureedu Allahu bikumu alyusra wala yureedubikumu alAAusra walitukmiloo alAAiddata walitukabbiroo AllahaAAala ma hadakum walaAAallakum tashkuroon

Sahih International

The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.

Without a doubt, this month is the most awaited in our Islamic calendar every year for it is the month where we are commanded to fast from before the break of dawn till the sun sets.

During our fast, we are to abstain from eating and drinking, refrain from engaging in any acts that will nullify our fast, increase our acts of prayer and worship of Allah the Almighty. Show more care and attention to the poor and needy. Not commit any acts that are forbidden in our faith of Al Islam and to constantly be in dhikrullah.

We are encouraged to break our fasts in a moderate manner and to join in the congregational taraweeh solats at our local masjids. We are to pay our zakat fitrah and to strengthen family ties and mend relationships. Ask and seek forgiveness from one another and to bond as an ummah worthy of Rasul Sallalahu Alaihi Wassallam’s Syafa’at in the Yaum al Akhirat.

At the end of Ramadan we are to celebrate Eid al Fitri as our successful completion of our saum for the sake of none other but Allahu Ta’ala, Rabbul Alamin. Insya Allah. May Allah bless and accept our Saum and reward us with His Forgiveness and enter us into His Jannah. Amin. Ya Rabbal Alamin.

His religious views?

Claims not to have been a really serious religious person before getting to know Islam. Says he couldn’t label himself as an Atheist in the past either for he still believed in the existence of God!

The only difference was that he didn’t believe that God existed in human philosophy.

Claims to have found answers about God everywhere! There were tons of different views that he has read about the matter but yet none of them impressed him. Says that he felt that his life was like a leaf blown about by the wind here and there, not knowing which way he should go in his life?

Alhamdulilah, he says that he found his way with Allah’s Taufik and Hidayah.

He has taken to blogging to share his thoughts about Islam and his personal journey on the path of Reverted Muslims.

Muhammad Ikhwan Ng states that what he has written does not represent any political party or NGO’s.

To those who would like to know more about him, please visit his blogs and contact him.

On behalf of The Muslim Bloggers Alliance, I wish him a warm welcome and may his being with us add a new dimension to our efforts here to share more info about Islam with our fellow humanbeings.

Ameen.

Sincerely,

Haji Zainol Abideen @ Mahaguru58.
